My name is Emily and I love taking care of fish and reptiles. I also own a 20 gallon long right now and just bought a used 55 gallon at a garage sale. I have 3 albino tiger barbs, 3 flaming tetras and 2 rainbow sharks right now.

How I got started with aquariums.:

My dad had a tiger Oscar a long time ago and he got to big for our 10 gallon so he gave him away and I liked to see the Oscar eat the minnows that we feed him. So I asked dad if we can get more tropical fish after we gave him away and he said sure. so we got more tropical less aggressive fish so we could have a variety.

Why I like fish::

Because they are very beautiful and relaxing to have in the house

Best advice:

Do your research before you even think about buying a fish. If you don't know about the fish you are buying (especially if its aggressive) your whole fish tank could turn into a fighting arena.

Other pets:

A firebellied toad, a Yorkshire terrier, and a poodle mix. I also have gold fish in a pond outside.
