How I got started with aquariums.:

My parents got a 10 gal tank when I was in middle school. I was the only one that took on taking care of the fish and tank...thus I became a fish lover.

Best advice:

Changing small amounts of water in the tank [often] does wonders for fish health. Also feeding the fish twice a day in small amounts helps.
