I've been working (volunteering and running my own) with non-profit dog rescues since I was 14 years old. I love reptiles, and (mostly) all animals! I plan on majoring in biology, or some sub division of it.

How I got started with aquariums.:

My boyfriend got me 2 betta fish and a small dual betta plastic tank. I thought this was too small, so I moved them to large round vases. I thought they looked lonely, so I got Esquire (the only one who tolerates other things in with him) buddies (ghost shrimp, 2 guppies, and a snail). I then thought 'this is way too small'. So I had my boyfriend buy me a 20 gallon tank. Which I then (unintentionally) overstock. So now I am looking for a larger one, and will get one this month!

My female guppy had babies 5 days after I got her T_T

Why I like fish::

They are so fun and peaceful to watch. I can sit for a long time in front of my tank and be happy.

Best advice:

Do your research before you do anything!! I wish I had!
