Aquarium 1:

a somewhat natural aquarium with native fish caught around Iowa although I'm not concerned with the plants being native... it's a 55 gal with 16 or so what i believe to be spot tail shiners from the cedar river, two baby sunfish and a "mystery fish" caught in the creek and McHose park in Boone. and

a 10 gal i'm just getting started...

How I got started with aquariums.:

my mom had aquariums for years when i was younger and i whent seining a few years ago with a friend to help him catch fish for his tank. moved to a house that someone left a 55 gal in the garage and one day out fishing i caught a small walleye and catfish... i have learned allot since then...

Favorite fish:

walleye

Fish I have bred:

snails... i hope to breed my shiners

Why I like fish::

they are so much fun to watch and keep. i enjoy making my little aquatic ecosystem
