Aquarium 1:

36 gallon tall - 9 harlequin rasboras, 10 neon tetras, 7 peppered cories, 3 otos and 3 dalmation mollies

8 gallon cube, first attempt at a proper planted tank. No occupants atm since it is cycling.

How I got started with aquariums.:

I started working at a smaller, family owned LFS in 2005 and was hooked within a few weeks. The rest is history. Am now working in a similar, privately owned LFS again and love it.

Favorite fish:

corydoras, most loaches, black ghost knives... for SW, I love triggers!

Fish I have bred:

Livebearers. Never really tried to breed anything else.

Why I like fish::

They're so interesting and beautiful. Watching a large school of peaceful community fish is so relaxing... and watching a few quirky fish can be extremely amusing.

Best advice:

Research! Nearly all of us do it wrong the very first time, and its so much easier to start out right. Start a fishless cycle and do your research while you wait! In the weeks it takes you can acquire all kinds of knowledge!
