How I got started with aquariums.:

We had tropical fish when I was a kid. I raised guppies during junior high and high school.

Fish I have bred:

Guppies and other live breeders, and goldfish.

Why I like fish::

I find watching the fish very peaceful. Decorating a tank appeals to my artistic side.

Best advice:

If you are just starting out, read about fishless cycling. If you are getting a new type of fish, read about it's proper care first. No impulse purchases.
