Inherited 20 year old, 24 inch 15 gallon, planted but fishless aquarium. In the midst of a steep learning curve.

How I got started with aquariums.:
My wife's first husband started this tank about 20 years ago. 15 gal, whisper filter, plants and no fish for a few years now. Wife wanted fish again, so the learning process begins.
