- Rest of Your Aquariums:
- I am up to 6 freshwater tanks now, my community 55 gal, two 30 gal with guppies & white clouds, two 20 gal with a lone acei blue/yellow cichlid and the other with guppies, plus my 10 gal with lone blue/yellow cichlid - going to try a 55 gal cichlid tank next with better hiding places and more fish to help with aggression since my 30 gal attempt with 5 acei was a flop...hence my two surviving loners...sigh.
- How I got started with aquariums.:
- I started with a small tropical tank many years ago, then switched to large tanks of fancy goldfish for 20+ years. Took a break for several years due to move & traveling and now resurrected my 55 gal as a freshwater tropical tank in spring of 2010, followed by 10 gal for my DD. Started with one 3" angelicus botia loach, "spotty guy" and now hooked on loaches. :)
- Favorite fish:
- Angelicus botia, of course!
- Fish I have bred:
- Swordtails & guppies
- Why I like fish::
- I enjoy zenning out in the morning over coffee or after a busy day and watching my aquariums. There is always more to learn and great people to talk to about fishkeeping.
- Other pets:
- Four cats, a Pembroke welsh corgi & a few small birds
