I bought my first fish tank at age 12 and been interested in tropical fish ever since. I'm retired and get to spend lots of time with my two grandkids age 6 and 10.

Aquarium 1:

It is a 55 gal, live plants drift wood, and has platties, Mollies, albino cats, neons, and angel fish.

Aquarium 2:

My second tank is a 55 gal that i have a divider in to separate two of my breeding angels. Two are marbles and the other two are black vail tales.

My third tank is a 30 gal, that has a breeding black vail tale and a marble angel.

I have two more 30 gal tanks that both have breeding angles and then I have two 55 gal rearing tanks, along with a number of small rearing tanks.

How I got started with aquariums.:

I started with guppies at the age of twelve, when i bought my first 20 gal tank, I followed with a couple of 5 and 10 gal tanks. I sold my first fishies at the age of thirteen to the local fish store. while stilling living at home I had I pond out side of my bedroom window and then put an old bath tub in the back yard and breed gold fish.

Favorite fish:

I really, really like angel fish but discus might be my favorite.

Fish I have bred:

Of course that would be guppies.

Why I like fish::

I find them relaxing

Best advice:

Make regular water changes.
