6.4 gal desktop w live plants, 2 snails, 2 neon tetras, 1 blind cave fish rescued from daughter's lab, female Betta recently removed b/c sick

daughter came home from college with a Betta and I fell in love (used to keep fish)

my daughter probably would say skip live plants; I don't feel qualified to advise but think one should read a lot, research, and then decide what feels right in your gut (about any issue)
