Fun to watch - enjoy upkeep (since I can use straight tap water I am a bit lucky on this issue)
Best advice:
Keep it clean -remember to cycle! - algae scrubber! and a remote control heater
Other pets:
Dog - a wonderful St. Bernard (now going on four years old and 140 lbs puppy still)
Knowledge is fun(damental)
A 75 gal with eight Discus, fake plants, and a lot of wood also with sand substrate. Clean up crew is fifteen Sterba's Corys. Filters: canister w/UV, in-tank algae scrubber that removes phosphates and nitrates! Also, a highly dangerous commercial nitrate removal unit from hell
