How I got started with aquariums.:

I think my first tank was a 15g. I was 10 years old and kept mollies, platies, danios and guppies. I also had gold fish and minnows in a livestock tank. I lost count of the tanks I've had over 45 years.

Favorite fish:

Healthy, wet and happy

Tropical live bearers and egg layers

Why I like fish::

They are fun to watch, relaxing and educational. There is a lot to learn and know. One can learn a lot thru careful observation. There is an art to seeing; one can learn a lot from behavior if observant.

Best advice:

If you have pets, be a responsible owner. Otherwise don't have them. Like children they depend on you. Learn as much as you can about them, and treat them properly.
