I love AC. I've been a lurker for quite a while, decided to start posting.

Aquarium 1:

50g Blue Gourami, Red Tail, Black Moore, Assorted Cardinal, Serpae andLemon Tetras. Just rehomed 2 kissers, a Bala & other large fish. Tank wasn't big enough. 10g Quarantine Tank

Aquarium 2:

46g bowfront (not in use) It's the tank in the video. I rehoused the fishies in a 50g, I'm planning to redo the bowfront.

Aquarium 3:

20g (in storage at MIL's house). Maybe we'll set it up in the kitchen. If we do, I'll use it for a species specific tank. Possibly tetras.

How I got started with aquariums.:

I used to work at a pet store and on my break, I'd hang out in the fish department. Sometimes I'd feed the Oscars. After my first tank, I just became addicted. I seem to go through periods, where I just HAVE to have MORE!

Why I like fish::

What's not to like. I guess it's the old phrase, the grass is always greener...I often wonder what it's like to live in their world. All the variety, the color...I guess I see the fish hobby as an artform. Deciphering whom goes with who, what plant, what subtrate...it's a never ending canvas!

Best advice:

READ a book before letting a teenage sales clerk, tell you how big your fish is going to get!

Other pets:

2 cats (will be 3 on Christmas), 1 Hamster & also coming on christmas, 1 gecko.
