How I got started with aquariums.:

My parents had kept fish when I was a kid but, they did a horrible job at it. Very often they'd fully stock a 20g tank and when it'd get dirty they'd add chlorine! Of course all the fish would die. Later on in life I became interested in fish keeping and so did about 4 weeks of reading on the subject before I started my first tank. That was Nov. 1st of 2009

They're varied in color, size, attitude, and social lifestyle! It's just extremely interesting to be a part of!

Best advice:

Well, I'm still very much a complete amatuer but, my advice would be to absolutely educate yourself about the hobby before getting into it.
