Aquarium 1:

My tank is 4 x 2 x 2ft, it holds 120g of water, weighs about 500kg when complete setup. I have 4 oscars, 2 convicts, 2 green terrors, 1 pleco and 1 cat. My filtration is a 1500lph aqua one 4 stage canister filter. I use fake plants in my setup. 300w heating

Aquarium 2:

This tank is a 2 x 1 x 2ft African cichlid aquarium. I have real black rocks stacked up making caves for territories, there are 6 cichilds in this tank, yellows, blues, blacks. I use a hang on aqua clear for filtration, I have a strong clamp on light that does the job. 200w heating

How I got started with aquariums.:

I have always been interseted in fish ever since I started going fishing, I then wanted to keep fish as pets. From then my fish have varied from goldfish to American and African cichlids.

Favorite fish:

Arowana, oscars and plecos.

Fish I have bred:

Guppies, texas x convict, green terrors and mosquito fish in my pond.

Why I like fish::

Because there are so many different coloured fish and different sized fish out there that you can buy. They all have different moods and aggression levels. And it is great when you get a tank full on baby fish and wonderful plants and rocks. A great looking fish tank adds another jaw dropping feature.
