Aquarium 1:

55 gallon 2 Fingerling Koi 2 Fingerling Butterfly Koi My daughter's fault. Okay, and mine cause I have a hard time telling her no ;-) She just had to have them. We need a pond for them or we need to find them a home with someone who does. So far, water parameters have been great though.

5 gallon hex 1 Three Spot Gourami My 2nd fave fish. Comes when I call her, touches my fingers with her little feelers. A real sweet-heart unless you're another fish.

A 15 gallon Sterilite storage container with a Whisper filter on the side. I keep it cycled and ready for a quarantine tank, just in case.

Guppies. But they really did it all themselves.

Why I like fish::

They taste good? Oops. Wrong answer.

Best advice:

Always quarantine. I keep a cycled tank going all the time just in case. I quarantine for a month. Don't overstock, especially if the tank isn't properly cycled. Read read read. Learn all you can before you begin.
