About Me:

I was born in Manhattan Beach, CA and moved to San Diego in 1999. I've grown to love this city and the people here. Fish keeping is a relaxing hobby that I get to escape from the big city to. I work in the wedding industry as a florist, and I love my job for all the reasons you wouldn't expect. I'm currently not going to school, but have plans to attend San Diego City College until I find a university that will be right for me. I want to study arts and biology.

How I got started with aquariums.:

Well, I'll be a poor college student who's used to having an animal to take care of, and yet dorms permit only a 10g tank with fish.

Favorite fish:

Predatory catfish, eels, and any strange looking monster fish.

Why I like fish::

They are fascinating to watch, come in a huge variety (something for everyone) from pretty, delicate little things, to ugly, carnivorous monsters, provide an excellent source of amusement between caring for and watching, provide satisfaction of a job well done and the ability to problem solve and play god.
