I was born in Manhattan Beach, CA and moved to San Diego in 1999. I've grown to love this city and the people here. Fish keeping is a relaxing hobby that I get to escape from the big city to. I work in the wedding industry as a florist, and I love my job for all the reasons you wouldn't expect. I'm currently not going to school, but have plans to attend San Diego City College until I find a university that will be right for me. I want to study arts and biology.
Indie, alternative, punk (oldschool of course), Brit pop, dubstep
Fight Club, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang and 28 Days Later best sum up my favorite genres.
Chuck Palahniuk, Cormac McCarthy, David Sedaris
Why do you like AC Tropical Fish:
Way helpful and friendly!
Manhattan Beach, CA
10g planted community.
1 male betta
6 Akysis vespa
14 Ember tetras
Empty 3g, planning for betta
I don't have a third aquarium.
Rest of Your Aquariums:
I don't have more aquariums than that/those described above.
How I got started with aquariums.:
Well, I'll be a poor college student who's used to having an animal to take care of, and yet dorms permit only a 10g tank with fish.
Predatory catfish, eels, and any strange looking monster fish.
Why I like fish::
They are fascinating to watch, come in a huge variety (something for everyone) from pretty, delicate little things, to ugly, carnivorous monsters, provide an excellent source of amusement between caring for and watching, provide satisfaction of a job well done and the ability to problem solve and play god.
Research, then come here to clarify what you've learned and sort out all the confusing, lacking information out there.
