How I got started with aquariums.:

my mother loved fish and when i was little we used to have a 30 gallon tank filled with mollies and chinese algae eaters. she took a lot of time to keep the tank clean and arrange the stuff inside to make it really pretty.

Favorite fish:

i think tetras or danios, i like schooling fish.

Fish I have bred:

guppies!!! i've only bought 3 of them in the past 4 years, and one was pregnant when i bought her. i've had to give away several families of fish because the tank gets somewhat crowded about 2x a year.

Why I like fish::

their fun to watch, it's hard to imagine something that small has a brain and organs and a heart and stuff. it's fun to imagine what it would be like to be the fish in the tank and see the world from the inside. they calm me down whenever i'm upset about something, they're very pretty, and they're quiet.
