Because I want to learn about fish! (duh) And I like the tank journals.

Aquarium 2:

Currently starting a 55 gallon South American themed community tank, I have the the tank, several heaters that I can use, driftwood (6 pieces), and 2 large rocks - one of which looks like jade when wet, however the only water in the aquarium is for soaking the wood so it doesn't float.

I wanted a pet, but everything but fish I couldn't get.

Why I like fish::

They shouldn't smell bad, some of them can be very interactive, you don't have to worry about house training them, to keep them properly they challenge you mentally and sometimes physically, they are pretty, they are more intelligent than what people give them credit for, they are so complex, they DON'T kill each other for their poor reasoning, and they DON'T have to deal with our human flaws (war, crime, homocide ect ect...).
