aqua-chef-automatic-fish-feeder I've been pretty happy with this feeder. The unit is easy to setup and load running on a 24 hour clock. 4 feeding times can be programmed into the unit, each of which can be set to feed with one or two spins of the hopper. The hopper itself holds a good amount of food with a small level to allow different amounts of food to be dispensed. Unfortunately, unlike some other units I've seen there is no 'low food' alarm, so it's important to keep an eye on the hopper if your using this as a sole feeding source.
Although the system worked great with smaller foods, with larger foods (i.e. koi pellets), the amount of food dispensed can be a little variable. One nice feature is the removable clamp, which allows mounting of the unit onto wide rims (or other odd shaped structures) via included velcro strips. I have a crazy schedule so I have the unit running 24/7 with no problems. I simply check the hopper during weekly during water changes to make sure there is enough food present. Would recommend for anyone who needs an automatic feeder.
