I discovered recently how to make a cost-efficient planter both good-looking and functional; just take a seashell such as a conch (whatever size fits your tank), and fill it with sand or another substrate. It's good for plants, and works for me to hold freshwater clams and Malaysian trumpet snails. What do you think about this idea?
