Okay guys, I got this started so how about chimming in on why we love this fish or any questions about them?

I'll start with; always get the biggest school you can afford and house.

We have 12 members and nobody wants to talk about Rummy nose, LOL!!

OK, I'll bite. I really love the way they get all excited -- look to me like a mass of puppies, all wriggling their tails -- when I sit down in front of my tank. Maybe that's because I've just fed...

Also love the way they swarm (I mean school) after my hand when I trail it back and forth close to the glass.

I also like the way they take food from all levels including alage tablets ;)

I thought I had some, guess not. I do have some Spirulina Waffers that I got in anticipation of the corys... Would those be good for Rummys?

I'll need to look into ordering some Algae tablets. Recommendations?

They would be fine and add some variety to their diet.

Hikari Algae Wafers are about the best I've found ;-)

they are so beautiful when they school. Mine are always 'quick' about it. Like theyre late for the train. Mine do not eat at all levels. Mostly mid level and they LOVE going after pellets for the bottom feeders. The meaty variety.

Another plus as you said; they don't turn thier noses up at anything ;-)
