Tonight I picked up some man-made live rock (for the sump), and while I was at the reef store I saw a flat disc coral with neon green tentacles and pink tips. I had to have it!
I just finished up reading about this plate coral and have come to the conclusion that it belongs on the sand floor with moderate light and flow.
Is this correct?

I thought it would be best on a flat piece of live rock but the research said, this coral would probably hurt it's under side on the rock, it belongs on the sand bed.
I also read this coral can damage other corals and needs to be fed to grow well.
Any advise will be helpful. Thanks in advance.
