The first was a very traumatic experience, the surgeon had a lot of trouble getting it out and I had the bone drilled...all this under local anaesthetic. Eek. :ssuprised:

Anyway, after experiencing excruciating pain and developing nearly every post-operative complication going, I was NOT looking forward to the second one. But this time was much quicker, much easier, and they sent me home with prescription painkillers this time. WOW...my goodness me do they knock you out! :hmm3grin2orange:

Feeling delicate today but no where near as much pain and swelling as the last one. Hopefully I will escape all the complications too.
