Hi,

i have just purchased a new balloon mollie. She is beautiful and BIG :ssmile: Over the last day or 2 i have noticed her acting a little strange hiding behind the filter and sitting on the pebbles or rocks. I have looked into pregnant balloon mollies and have found that if there is a small white spot at the back by her fins under her belly then that means she is close to giving birth? I have purchased a breeding net and put her in there with a few plants to keep her happy. I was just wondering if anyone could look at my video to check if i'm been over protective or if she is really pregnant.

today i noticed some tiny tiny white specs on the glass of my tank. they are approximately 0.5mm each, there are a couple of clusters of 4-8 and some single ones dotted around the place. i am wondering if they are eggs and if so who they belong to??
in the tank i have 16 neon tetras (i assumed not them because i heard they only spawn in environments that replicate their blackwater native habitat, and i believe they are also egg scatterers?), 6 three lined corydoras (thought most likely them but i thoguht their eggs were bigger than this), and 12 red cherry shrimp (but they carry their eggs under their tail). im stumped!
could anyone help me out? the 'eggs' look white and aren't in a gelatinous clump or anything so im hoping that means they arent snail eggs. thanks!

sorry about the bad picture! that out of focus white spot near the 21cm mark is a clump of 4 of them
