Help! Cloudy tank and fish dying!

Rate this Entry
I've had my 20 gallon tank for about a year and a half now. I do my water changes and everything regularly. Last week I had to do an 80% water change due to unforeseen things. I know this was a very large water change but I had no choice. Everything in the tank was great for about a week. My platys and puffer were staying closer to the top but I thought I just had too much water in there, so I took a bit out. This past Friday I noticed a dead platy, but everyone else seemed to be okay. I have lost 3 total platys and my puffer is very lethargic, to the point where we think he's dead until we poke him. My boyfriend just put him into a small glass bowl with fresh water and that seems to have perked him up. My tank is very cloudy. I thought it was from the dead fish. I did a 20% water change yesterday thinking my tank was trying to cycle, but that seems to have made it cloudier. Again I understand I shouldn't have placed my fish in this position, but please help me help them.
