You can see the purple thing on top of the tank, that's the hood from the 1gal with the light in it. I also have a purple folder to the right of the tank to keep my computer screen from messing with him.The heater didn't turn on at all today because it was around 90 degrees (f) here... And it keeps the tank at a minimum of 76 degrees (f). The betta hammock is attached to the side near the folder and is about half-way down (its hidden by the thermometer and ammonia alert). It says to keep it near the surface, but he likes it lower than that, so... I catered to his preference.

Now, here is my brother's female. She has a habit of skipping and jumping on the surface of her tank, so she has a bump on her head where she collided with her filter... She hasn't done it since, but still has the bump... I had my brother change a little of her diet, since she was only getting pellets, and she's been behaving better. I'm still a little concerned about that bump tho... Will it heal and go away, or will she have it forever?
