Breeding Ghost Shrimp

I noticed today that one of my ghost shrimp is carrying what I beleive to eggs. They are small and brown or maybe dark green. Are these eggs? And are they fertalized yet? When I was watching the shrimp she was not moving around a lot just sitting on a plant and almost swishing or bouncing around the eggs under her tail. If in fact the eggs are fertalized I would like to separate the shrimp to give the fry a better chance of survival and any tips with that would be great.

A little about what I have. I am a beginner with aquariums. I have a 10g tank with 3 black tetra, 3 cobra guppies, 4 ghost shrimp, and two albino cory catfish.

Any comments are welcome :)

p.s.
This is also my first time using this site. Since I got my aquarium I would always use this site to answer my questions but I figured I ask my own this time!

    Yes, likely eggs, but don't know if they are fertilized and not sure how to determine that. Always better to leave questions in the Invertebrates forum instead of a blog for quick replies. I only found this because I searched for answers to my own question. Thought I'd mention that since I see no one else replied which is VERY strange for the AC. Anyhow, back to what I was doing and welcome to the AC!

    If the eggs are a brownish color, then they are fertilized. At least, that is what my sis and I have found out. If this is the case, then the babies are pretty far along. You could get a Net Breeder and put a live plan in it or float it on top. That will save the babies. And do it quick, you probably don't have too long before the eggs become babies. They will stick to mom for a while (they will look like little black/brownish dots, those are their stomachs according to another breeder that we've gotten info from) but you don't want to net mom because the net could hurt them. I haven't yet found how to move the female to the breeding net (which is a box frame with a nylon net that hangs right inside of your tank) so I assume to simply herd her into it before you hook it to the side.
