My Molly and Guppy Fry and Their Journey from Freshwater to Saltwater.

Rate this Entry
April 9, 2014 Day 1
8 Mollies, 8 Guppies All under 1 month old.
Starting Salinity 1.002 (so basically nothing, it was just from the saltwater added when I would feed the live brine shrimp)
Equipment: 1 Gallon Critter Keeper, Nano Heater, Small Air Driven Filter with an attached prefilter (otherwise your fry will end up in the filter), Refractometer, Digital Thermometer with probe, and some Omega One Ocean Salt Mix.

Added the 1.002 Salinity water (only filled halfway or 1/2 gallon)
Added Fish
Started a very slow drip (about 2 drips per min)
Let Drip overnight
