Hello there! Im in desperate need of some help! I recently was told my aquarium has a spike in ammonia. I have only had the 55 gallon aquarium for 3 months now. Currently only have 6 guppies and 1 female betta in it. I switched pet shops because I didnt feel like the original was being honest with me, and just wanted to get their fish out the door. But when my fish kept dying, I decided to switch shops. The new shop told me I had a high amount of ammonia in my tank. So I bought two products both
I've had my 20 gallon tank for about a year and a half now. I do my water changes and everything regularly. Last week I had to do an 80% water change due to unforeseen things. I know this was a very large water change but I had no choice. Everything in the tank was great for about a week. So i have moved my 2 moor goldfish into my planted aquarium.
I have a marimo moss ball and two other plants i was given by a relative but im not sure what they are i just know they are oxygenating plants.
My java fern is ordered and should be arriving Tuesday. Once its in i think i should have enough hiding room to add in some cherry shrimp.
The moor goldfish are a fairly blind fish and very peaceful so i really hope and doubt that any deaths will occur.
Ill post a picture
