This morning I discovered one of my two Amano shrimp had molted in the plastic plant I am using as floating cover. This is my first time to see this and very neat to be entirely intact. The exoskeleton would be hard to see but I did because it was near the glass.
Went Saturday to Aquatic Critter and purchased #6 more Black Neons and #1 Amano shrimp. I moved the 7 Black Neons from the QT to the 29 gal.
The tank looks a lot fuller! Also, I caught a nice shot of my LFABNP while taking shots of full tank.
Today I checked nitrate and it is still low. Phosphate is 0. Will do small wc and add ferts.

I aimed on posting this days ago. No, I did not find the remains of the Amano; he is still in the tank! Not sure where he's been hiding but good to know he's still at work cleaning up after the Bloods. I'm thinking about getting another.
Tests results were 0,0,<10 so I did no water change. Today, I changed 5 gals to remove yellowish BNP poop. I trimmed some plants in favor of taking some tank shots later tonight.
The hair algae is still active.

I went to Aquatic Critter yesterday and purchased the next stocking of tetras -Black Neons. I told the man I wanted #6, but quickly changed that to #7, saying one more for good luck. Arriving home later than expected, I was in a rush to acclimate them, while at the same time moving the ABN out of the QT and back to the 29g. After 50 minutes I had to drop the fish and leave. That was 3:30pm yesterday. Got back home late and went straight to bed.
