It is very wise if anyone has points to put them in the bank. They can not be taken from you then. And you are right. You earned those points and I don't think people should be able to steal them from you. With that said, it is difficult to steal points. You have to have a large number yourself to steal from another and it only works about 10 percent of the time. You might get a few points once, but most of the time will have to pay the person you are trying to steal from the amount you are attempting to steal.

And lose your rep points beside. NOT worth it.

Stealing points just seems so rude on such a nice forum as this. I've always wondered about that function and been pretty low on points like, forever. Can't say I haven't thought about robbing the rich to give to, well me! But I can't even steal virtually. I'd be to worried about the virtual police coming to take me away! LOL

I have never tried to steal from anyone. I have noticed the function though. At least i dont think i have used it ever.

I agree that its a bit of a borderline option to have on there. I do believe however to stay impartial to why it was created, that it is there as a game which is supposed to be fun. It gives you something to do i guess while your not posting or just really really bored.

though i wont ever use it i think it should be left for the reason I have stated there, that its just a bit of fun. IF it meant the person you were stealing from was in anyway actually losing something meaningful then yes id definatly vote to have it removed. like if you could steal gifts that would be wrong in my book because they have been given to you personally from another member so it sort of has more meaning.

I did vote no have it removed as I never use it and it seems as if most of you here dont use it and so would like it to be removed. If it was an item that was used all the time maybe I would vote the other way.
