Hi,
I am new to the site and I have my Betta in a 2.5 mini-bow. The tank has been cycled and I was wondering if I have to make water changes every day? For those of you who have your Bettas in a 2.5 mini-bow, how often and how much do you change your water?
Thanks
a 25% WC every week should be sufficent to keep your betta happy. Make sure you are only feeding a small amount to him daily. If you overfeed you will need to do WCs more often.

Thanks. I feed him 2-3 bio-gold betta pellets per day - they are so tiny. I hope that isn't too much. He is always begging for more so I sometimes think it isn't enough.

you should only feed what the betta can consume in a few minutes time

You can go as high as 5 to 7 pellets but that depends on the fish. A good rule to remember "A hungry fish is a healthy fish"...

Fed him what he will eat in a few minutes time? How many times a day should this be done?

exactly. plus, if you over-feed you can contaminate the water quicker

I feed mine twice a day.
