Well, it's about time i got a good light. For my birsthday I was told that a coralife 65w fixture was in the mail. Could i grow pretty much any plants with this? I will be using it in a 20 high with flourite and co2.
Plus, what cool looking plants do you reccomend?
I currently maintain close to 120 species of plants... that being said, you have more than sufficent light for most plants. As far as which to recommend it all depends on what type of fish, if you are trying for a specific biotope, etc. Some of the easier ones that will do well would be:
Any of the Ludwigia species
Any of the Rotalla species
Most of the Anubias species
Most of the Myriophyllum species
I can go on, but there are just too many to list...

I see, would the red ludwigia grow well?

Yes, Ludwigia repens would do well. You will probably need to keep trimming it. If you want lots of it. Take a stem of it, lie it down sideways with some anchors and soon you will have a whole lot plantlets you can cut and replant.
