new betta

i found a new betta today from petsmart. it was cheap since i had tons of those 5$ off coupons (lol, they asked me where i keep getting them). its in the 10g, and has a cool color, a washed out light blue. here he is!

Cool! and how wierd i just got a new one yesterday and i just posted about it haha. Awesome color, i saw one just like him at the lfs.

a thing i feel terrible about getting is a pacu. he's pretty small, but was in a 10g tank at the store and looked stressed as hell. hes in the 55g until i can find him a home with someone with a large tank (shouldnt be hard here). i paid 5 bucks for him so i'll give him away free

don't feel terrible, he'll have alot of time before he has to get moved and you rescued him which is GOOD!

holly...that is a small tank for a pacu to be in (the 10g) I hope that you can find him a home. Well at least he will beable to stay in the 55g for about a month?? or maybe alittle longer???!!!

he should be good for 3-4 months, but by that time hopefully i'll have a 125g+ tank for him and can keep him.

hes a bit skittish, but is out swimming. he looks so strong that if he hit the glass he could shatter it!

yeah now he has room to spread out and swim freely...well not quite but still.
How big is he right now?

right now hes about as big as the palm of your hand. maybe i can stealthly get a picture of him if i sneak up on him...

yeah i know eh aqua queen?? Well i wish that there was a dwarf version of the pacu that could live in a 50g at fully grown because they are so cool and it would be neat to keep one.

lol, hes like a bull in a china shop. when he swims by the serpaes scatter and some other fish run, but the severum doesnt mind him

i found them in a recycling bin, about 500 of them. theyre still good for 6 days so i might go once more and get some stuff for the 55g. with the coupon the pacu was 5$
