I know what I would get if I had a 265g, AROWANA time. Maybe a lima shovel nose? Most catfish are bottom feeders.

If the tank isn't planted (with real plants) I'd say a school of two dozen of the larger silver dollars, like red hook mets (Myleus rubripinnis). They reach a bit over five inches.

Both would eat the otocinclus, Kuli.

I usually only reach 8" in the home aquarium.

You'd need a larger tank; twice as big as the one you have, for them to reach 12 inches.

sounds a little close to the mark. are they herbivores?

Carnivores but they won't eat your corys. I am iffy on the ottos though, mine won't but all fish are different. Mine also eats vegetable matter.
