To be more specific i am referring to Eleocharis acicularis. I really want a lush carpet of this plant. However mine has been dong basically nothing since i planted it. Hasnt been growing that i can see at all. Anyone want to give me a rundown on what this plant needs?
I am running 3.6 wpg 6500k daylight compact flourescent bulbs.
Using top soil capped with gravel as substrate.
Currently i am not dosing with any ferts.
I do have a bottle of flourish iron, excel, and flourish comprehensive.
Not currently running a heater on the tank. Tank stays around low 70s.
I do have a heater if that will help.
How long should i keep the lights on?
Does ph have an effect?
Should i be dosing with the ferts?
Should i put in the heater? If so what temp?
Anything else?
