Say 'hello' to Aries!

:D I picked up my new betta last night. His tank is on it's way here now with UPS, should be here in the next couple of hours. His name is Aries! He's a half-moon betta. I got one shot of his fins all open, but it was blurry because he was moving and I took these with my phone haha.

For now, he's waiting in a big bowl with a heater and some plants. He's so active and eating well already, even though he hasn't been in a properly filtered tank yet!

He's so much brighter now than when I first saw him in PetCo last night. I love him! :D

:3 The water level is way too low for him to jump out, and it's sitting right next to me, so I think he'll be okay. There is like 9 inches of bowl above the water level.. (It's actually a huge pitcher, with a bowl-shaped bottom!)
