how often will they spawn????

i have 2 blind cave tetras and im sure i have a boy and a girl.
three days ago my female was sooo huge in the belly and then the next day she was skinny again.
i now have a spare tank and was just wondering how long till she's ready to spawn again???
id like to try and save the eggs and try raising the fry, if its possible.
