I am thinking about setting up a 2ft as a breeding tank
I have a few questions to ask

1: what do i need in the tank
2: do i need to put suckers and cat fish in to clean
3: if so do i move them when i am puttin fish in there to breed
4: what type of equipment would i need

any thoughts would be appreciated

thanks

i am unsure on how many litres are in a 2ft
all i can tell you is that my 3ft is 100 litres so i would assume the 2ft would be somewhere between 70 to 90 litres and that is a guess

2 foot is about 75 liter or 20 gallons.

You need a heater, a gentle spone filter, and some terra cotta ppots for the fish to breed in. Don't add gravel unless the fish you're breeding are diggers; it's best to research the type of fish you will put in it before you set it up.

Also, don't add any catfish or bottom feeders, as they will eat any eggs that are laid.
