It has a long slender body and it kind of resembles the blood fin tetra except it only has red on the tail. Here is a picture: [Only Registered Users Can See Links.].
Does anyone have any idea? I am trying to find out what is killing my cardinal tetras. This would be greatly apreciated!

Could it be a hyrid of serpae and another tetra. The tail looks just like a serpae tail. I dunno though.

Thanks for all of your replies and help. Actually it appears that it is some form of a bloodfin tetra. I did a lot of research yesterday and found that there are a couple different types of bloodfin tetras. It seems that it what they are.
They also were the ones that were nipping at my cardinals and killing them. I did remove my cardinal tetras yesterday and put them in my guppy tank with my neons. Everyone seems much happier this way.
However, it is quite strange because I had five cardinals in the 55 gallon and nobody touched them, but then I added 6 more and the bloodfins killed 3 of them within 2 days. Does anyone know why that would be?
Thanks again!
