please help id this plant

I bought a plant from my LFS last week but they told me it is a "florida ruffle" and they didn't know any other name for it. Can anyone help me id this plant?

Whatever it is, it doesn't really have that aquatic plant "look". I've heard Colocasia sp. (elephant ear) plants called ruffles before. If your plant is a young Colocasia, then you likely need to take it out of your tank (it may eventually "melt"), and plant it in a pot with rich, supersaturated soil. But in all honesty, it doesn't look like a Colocasia - it's not really growing "right"... hopefully someone knows what it is.
