pregnant guppy question

Once a guppy starts having her fry how long could it take her to finish giving birth?

It can take somewhere between 6 - 8 hours, sometimes less, sometimes a lot more. I don't really think that you can put an exact time frame on it. :ssmile:

It should be finished within a 10 hour window. I advise you to LEAVE HER ALONE. She will finish faster.

i know this is an older post, but when she does give birth will she emediatly try to eat them or am i safe untill shes done?

Some fry will be eaten... usually the weaker ones... the stronger ones will get away.
