Hi,
My name is Chris, and I live in Winnipeg, Canada.
I used to have all sorts of pets when I was younger (a few fish, turtles, lizards, and lots of fuzzy critters, too). I got rid of my last turtle well over a year ago, though.
I got my kid a 20 gallon starter kit for Christmas in 2003, and I now have 5 tanks up and running (a Betta tank, a 10 gallon, two 20 gallon, and a 45 gallon I stole from my brother). I had problems with tropical fish when I started out last year, so I kept comet goldfish, minnows, and guppies for awhile. These got boring, especially after I started putting live plants in my tanks.
It took me about a year to research and figure out how to keep a tank going, with lots of trial and error. I think I've got a pretty good handle on keeping fish now, but I still like learning more.
I constantly update my website, so check there if you want to se exactly what I have. (Well, my wife went to her mother's for the week, and took the camera with her. It'll be awhile before I can update the photos...)
