I am searching for a small, predatory fish that can tolerate colder waters
that will eat fish fry.
I have around 35 rosy red minnows and 9 white clouds in a pond
and they have multiplied like bacteria on a petri dish. I thought the white clouds would eat the fry but they not only leave all fry alone but they also contributed to the cloud of twitching little sticks with bulgey eyes that occupies the entire surface of the pond.
I was thinking somewhere along the lines of a paradise fish or small pumpkinseed species.
that will eat fry but leave the adults alone. If its a "native" species it would also be awesome if you could suggest where to buy since normal aquarium stores don't typically carry things like that.
