View Full Version : DIY Coconut Bubble Cave

Thanks to the creator ( Cocoa Pleco) of the Coconut Cave, I took it one step further, and drilled 22 Different size holes in the top of the coconut before boiling. Then put a 1/4 Inch hole on the backside about 1/2 inch from the bottom, you insert the hose through the hole, and then attach a small airstone to the other side, and Bingo, you have a coconut that bubbles. It looks natural, in with plants, and the shrimp, and algae eaters love to eat off it, so it is also a good food source.
I will post pictures of what it looks like in my 20 Gallon once I get some batteries. LOL
Thanks, for the idea of the coconut cave you have help take my aquarium to another level.

Cool, Oto, looks like a globular volcano erupting. Nice effect.
