View Full Version : can cardinals live in tap water????

hi im new 2 this site it looks cool,and ive had fish tanks since 2001 what i was wanting to know is will my cardinals live in tap water does anybody have any expeirence because i dont want to mix with rain water thanks in advance your a legend:9:

Doubt it....it needs to be treated with dechlorinator before you put the fish in. Unless you have well water your using.

Btw, I would be careful using rain water also.....rain water can be very acidic and can be contaminated from pollutants in the air.

Should as long as your well hasn't been treated with chlorine :)
