Variatus and Wagtails

I have 4 adult wagtail platys - 2 boys and 2 girls, 1 adult red platy female, and several varitus juveniles, about 2 months old, but still pretty small. My question is will the wagtails ever mate with the variatus girls? So far my wag boys are pretty gentle with each other and the wag girls, but I worry I might need more wag or red girls. I have a really nice almost grown variatus platy, but no one seems to notice her or her siblings. What about the other kinds of platys, like twin bar, and sunset, and mickey mouse?

A platy is a platy is a platy. There shouldn't be any problems with them breeding.

We have a Tuxedo male, Wagtail female, Variatus female and another "Assorted platy" female. The male will breed with all of them, though I think the "assorted" is sterile (the male mates, but no babies).

Cool I was wondering the same thing about platys and if they'd breed with different colours.
