tomorrow i get the gramma and all that other stuff at 11am, but i couldnt wait until them to get something for the saltwater tank. i went to petcetera at wested, and they had a gold yellow goby lawnmower, and some kinda dottyback. i figured i need a bottom feeder, so i got the lawnmower. hes fairly small, and hes drip acclimating now so i should have pics in a hour. tomorrow morning the rest of the fish come

Its either a lawnmower blenny or a clown goby. Sounds to me like a clown goby. You will enjoy him.

clown goby, not a doubt about it.
They have personality. It is hard to get them to eat anything but frozen though.

i asked them what he was raised on and they said he was accepting regular food, but when i get all of the other fish and corals tomorrow may as well pick up some frozen food too

lol, usually im fine but this was a doozy.
lol, and i found the saddest kid in petcetera today. it was a little black kid holding a dead betta with his aunt. the workers sold them the betta after they just got shipped, so it died from stress. the poor kid said "i'll try another one, and if he doesnt live its the last one". and the poor kid was like 6. their tank was filtered and 3g.

Awww
did you tell him about water currents upsetting them?
perhaps stressed it alittle more

nope, their tank was betta perfect, it was just the stress.

Shame it would have been stuck in a tiny container then finally died when he got into his comfy new home

lol, and the worker said "dottybacks will get along with a gramma, but the dottyback may attack corals."
then i asked about the goby, and after she flipped around and said the dottybacks love corals so i played it safe with the goby. glad i did since i want a shrimp
of course i screwed up my paycheck, and since i worked within the last 2 weeks i get paid NEXT friday (DUMB@$$), but for sure i'll get the royal gramma, the 3 that go out today will be snatched quickly.
